In line with Sacoor’s long term strategy, the Country Manager is responsible for sales and distribution of the brand in the region. He/She is also responsible for proposing and implementing a coherent strategy for the region and ensures that retail, specialists, marketing, communication, operations and team management are at the level required to grow the brand presence in the region. The Country Manager acts as an ambassador of Sacoor Brothers at all times.
· Retail
Implement and manage retail strategy for the region, in line with international guidelines
Manage retail growth (organic and possible new sites)
Initiate action plans to develop local and international clientele
Ensure all partners are performing coherently with brand and group policies, procedures and incoterms
Develop wholesale growth and business development in the region
· Marketing and Communication Strategy
Establish local communication strategy in-line with international guidelines
Monitor efficacy of communication activities
Develop marketing and local networking strategies
· Budget and Operations
Responsible for P&L in the region
Manage budgeting and reporting process
Manage sales and profitability targets
· Team Management
Recruit staff and build employee structure
Entailing task delegation, coaching, development and evaluation
Education, Academic Qualification and Professional Experience:
Master’s degree, MBA or other relevant field At least 8-10 years’ experience as a Country Manager, Operations Manager, Regional Manager, or similar, within Retail sector is highly preferred Strong Sales and Marketing, and Commercial background Preferably with management experience in an international setting
Understanding of the retail market in the MENA region
Excellent people management, organizational, and negotiation skills
Ability to manage multiple teams
Strong presentation and communication skills
